MILK + HONEY was so honored to capture Brittny Ervin's Marie Antoinette inspired dream at the Duke Mansion. Here is what the creator herself had to say about the shoot:

"I've always had a pretty good imagination but was never one who could translate that imagination into a rendering. However, I knew I could use my imagination to my advantage and create a shoot that would inspire brides and wedding planners alike. With a solid team of up-and-comers and seasoned vets, I presented my idea and was able to bring my vision to life on May 2, 2016, at the Duke Mansion.

The shoot combined a little bit of whimsy, a touch of grandeur, and a lot of beauty thanks to all of the vendors who were carefully curated for this shoot. It was truly kismet for us to end up with the Enzoani gown because a national rep just so happened to be in town (Charlotte, NC) and was hosting a trunk show for CJ Bostrom of J. Majors Bridal and Erin Grey Couture."

The Duke Mansion, a historic landmark, served as the perfect backdrop ....

As for the tablescape, strands of pearls are strewn about. Dyed ostrich plumes grace the place settings, their organic texture complimenting the cheerful conceit of the mismatched china and goblets. And shockingly pink napkins layer over playfully effervescent taffeta linens to tone down the otherwise oh-so-serious gold flatware."
