HEY there!

I'm Megan Cantrell, a professional photographer and San Diego native living the Southern good life with my amazing husband (and second shooter) Brad, and our sweet little boy Breck in Charlotte, North Carolina.

OUR start...

I worked at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and Brad was a CH-53 Pilot. We bonded over both having not so great Valentine's Days, and when he followed me outside to ask for my number and to get together sometime… I totally blushed. 

IN THE beginning...

I picked up a camera again two weeks before I started my MBA. I was working full time in Accounting for the Marine Corps, taking classes full time for my MBA, and photographing as many families as I could every weekend.

THE ROAD to today...

Brad proposed, and the very next day we were headed cross country driving towards Charlotte. We said "I Do" in 2016 near Fallen Leaf Lake in South Lake Tahoe, and I took the leap of faith to be a photographer full-time.

Whether Brad is standing by my side photographing a wedding, or Breck is keeping Mommy young at heart with his love-able little smiles, these two are there for every moment and every step of the adventure!

BEHIND the scenes...

My Mom moved out here shortly after Breck was born to give us some extra help when we needed it. Getting that peace of mind when we are shooting together, or I am working solo during the week is absolutely priceless.

GOALS and dreams...

Our goals and dreams include raising good humans that love God, creating adventure wherever we are, treasuring our quality time together, and maybe even traveling in an Airstream one day!

OUR favorites...

We love Blueberry pancakes with our little Breck(enridge), easy Saturday mornings, snuggling together on the couch when it rains, and saying "I love you" every chance that we get.
